Visual Distortion?

You are a photojournalist at your local city's newspaper/web news and you have been assigned to take photographs of a mayor candidate at a local event. It is a last minute assignment and you are well respected by the paper, allowing you to publish photos without any revisions. They need the photo put on their website A.S.A.P!

The news paper you are working for has taken the stance of supporting the new mayor and his polices that you don't agree with. You actually think the candidate is foul with his poor policies and has a blind eye to minorities. You get to the event and you have the choice of shooting elegant/professional pictures of the candidate to make him look strong and well minded, or the option to take pictures that make him look small, powerless, and weak.

It will benefit the greater good to take bad pictures of him, as the newspaper is admired by local citizens and the bad publicity almost guarantees the candidates failure. However, this job pays well enough so that you can afford to live and pay for your family's expenses.

Do you depict the candidate as weak and powerless, or as strong and intelligent?
