Questions for Marisa Lagos
Use the comment section for this post to pose a question to Ms. Lagos.
I saw that you recently wrote an article titled, "Legal Weed: It Really is Coming Soon to a Store Near You." If you ever were to continue with this story and interview one of these small family cannabis farmers and they offered for you to try their product would you? If no, would you still drink with a source?
Do you feel like it is necessary to always write without political bias and if so, how do you write about the current political climate without showing your own beliefs?
What do you do if you are assigned a boring story? I understand politics is juicy at times and can be interesting, but what do you do in times of low interest in politics, now with Trump it seems like everyone has an opinion but 2 years ago, no one cared about the daily press briefings (I can honestly say I don't remember the name of Obama's press sec). How do you find a story? Or rather, how do you make every story count?
