My former journalism adviser showed naked pictures of himself to a student I worked with. He is now being reinstated. He is a great teacher, but is this ethical?

This is the website for the senior-level Journalism Ethics course required of students in the Journalism Minor at the University of San Francisco. We are delighted that non-minors are among us this Fall.

Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, absolutely not. Sexual harassment is always grounds for termination in my book. He may be a "great" instructor, but his teaching abilities are negated by the way he conducts himself around students. I wouldn’t take his class, even if I needed it. I also wouldn’t work for someone who was known to show lewd photos of himself. It doesn’t matter how talented you are. If you can’t conduct yourself in a professional manner, you don’t deserve to keep the job you have.
